Safety and Protection of Minors Policy
The Safety and Protection of Minors on Campus policy applies to to all Programs in which any non-matriculated Minor participates. Such Programs are conducted either (1) by the university on or off university property or (2) by others authorized by the university to operate on university property. Such Programs include, but are not limited to, camps, clinics, workshops, conferences, and other educational activities.
The policy was approved on March 3, 2016; went into effect July 1, 2016; and was most recently revised March 19, 2024.
The procedures and processes in the Safety and Protection of Minors on Campus policy ensure that VCU Programs with participating Minors shall be conducted in a manner that is appropriate and intended to keep everyone healthy and safe.
